Picnic Basket Catering Collective was founded in 1989 when longtime friends and food enthusiasts, Kathy Dreiling and Michelle Talarico, combined their passion for hospitality with just $300 each and a vision for creating unforgettable dining experiences. What began as a small venture has grown into an award-winning enterprise, proudly recognized as the “Best Catering Company in Colorado Springs” for over twenty consecutive years. Today, the collective encompasses three distinct divisions Picnic Basket Catering Company, Buffalo Gals Grilling Company, and Cravings Catering & Five Star Events allowing us to serve a wide range of clients and occasions with creativity, precision, and heart.

Based in Southwest Colorado Springs, Picnic Basket Catering Collective is fueled by a team of dedicated professionals who share a progressive, family-oriented culture. From weddings and corporate events to community fundraisers, movie shoots, and intimate celebrations, our team executes more than 2,000 events annually, serving over 135,000 guests across the Pikes Peak Region and beyond.
