The Altadena Library Foundation has been dedicated to supporting and enhancing the mission of the Altadena Libraries through strategic fundraising and community advocacy since its founding in 2009. As a nonprofit partner to the Altadena Library District, the foundation plays a vital role in securing financial resources that expand access, enrich programs, and ensure that the libraries remain vibrant centers of learning and connection for all residents.

Looking ahead to 2024–2025, the Foundation is actively raising funds to support major capital improvements, including the renovation of the historic Bob Lucas Memorial Library.
