First Christian Church of Kearney, located at 2151 S Jefferson Street in Kearney, Missouri, we are dedicated to guiding people on a lifelong journey of learning to trust God. We believe that faith begins with a personal decision to accept the gift of eternal life through the sacrificial love of Jesus Christ, not through our own efforts, but through God’s grace. Our weekly worship services celebrate this gift, as we grow together in understanding and living out the truth found in the New Testament.

We recognize that life can be complicated and relationships challenging, which is why we seek to apply Biblical principles in practical ways to our everyday lives. Our church is a community of imperfect people relying on the perfection of Christ for hope, forgiveness, and direction. Through teaching, serving, and ministering within our church, homes, and the broader community, including beyond Kearney we strive to fulfill our mission of leading people to trust God more deeply.
