Northland Therapeutic Riding Center (NTRC) is dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals with special needs through the proven benefits of equine-assisted therapies. Each week, we serve approximately 85 participants, providing them with opportunities to build confidence, strength, independence, and social connection in a supportive and uplifting environment. At the heart of our mission is the belief that the human-horse bond has a unique and transformative power, and we witness that transformation every day.

Our programs are carefully designed to meet the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of our riders, helping them achieve goals that extend well beyond the barn. Whether overcoming personal challenges, developing new skills, or simply experiencing the joy of riding, our participants thrive through the support of our dedicated staff, volunteers, and the gentle strength of our therapy horses.
