White Orchid Hospice
Home

White Orchid Hospice was founded out of a deeply personal experience by Stephen, who witnessed firsthand the challenges his family faced during his father’s battle with a terminal illness. As a child, he watched his father, a U.S. Air Force veteran suffering from PTSD and alcoholism, succumb to complications from liver disease without the benefit of hospice care. The emotional and physical burden fell on Stephen’s aunt, who became the primary caregiver, navigating the struggle alone and unaware of the hospice resources available. These experiences shaped Stephen’s commitment to ensuring no family endures a similar journey without compassionate support and guidance.

Drawing from his service as a U.S. Army Combat Medic during Operation Desert Storm, Stephen brings a deep understanding of care, empathy, and the dignity every patient deserves. White Orchid Hospice, located in Sugar Land, Texas, was created to offer specialized in-home palliative and end-of-life care throughout Fort Bend County. With a dedicated team of nurses and healthcare professionals, including experts in pain management, pharmacy, and mental health, the organization is committed to honoring every patient’s story. Their mission is to provide comfort, dignity, and support, ensuring each final chapter is written with compassion and peace.
