The Mission of Operation Quiet Comfort: Quiet Comfort is to honor and comfort our U.S. Armed Forces men and women who have been injured while serving in harm's way and to support the medical staff that care for them. We do this by sending care packages to military medical units overseas every month.
Operation Quiet Comfort is dedicated to bringing comfort and care to our nation’s military personnel through thoughtful support and meaningful outreach. Based in Plymouth, Indiana, our all-volunteer organization connects members across the country to share resources, organize events, and spread awareness about the needs of active-duty troops and veterans. From local gatherings to hands-on packing events, our volunteers unite to create packages of love, ensuring our military men and women feel the appreciation and gratitude of a grateful nation. Every effort, from fundraising to preparing “Go Bags,” is driven by a shared mission to make a tangible difference in the lives of those who serve.
Guided by a passionate board of trustees, Operation Quiet Comfort thrives on the diverse talents and experiences of its members. Our team includes veterans, educators, business leaders, and parents, all united by a commitment to service. Whether coordinating shipments, fundraising, or hosting local events, each member contributes in meaningful ways to support troops and veterans alike. With decades of combined experience, deep personal connections to military service, and a spirit of community, we strive to ensure that every package sent carries both practical comfort and heartfelt appreciation. Operation Quiet Comfort is more than an organization; it’s a network of people who care deeply and act purposefully to honor the sacrifices of those who protect our country.
