Arizona Border Alliance is driven by a passion for building a stronger, more connected Southern Arizona. Founded in Douglas in 2023, our organization was created to address the unique challenges and opportunities of life along the U.S.-Mexico border. By bringing together local governments, nonprofits, grassroots leaders, and cross-border partners, we work to reduce service duplication, maximize resources, and foster collaboration that directly benefits underserved communities. Every program we develop is guided by a commitment to equity, inclusivity, and meaningful impact, ensuring that residents on both sides of the border have access to the essential support and opportunities they deserve.
Since becoming a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2024, Arizona Border Alliance has grown into a dynamic hub for regional progress. Our initiatives span economic development, public health and safety, education and workforce development, environmental sustainability, substance use prevention, and food security, all designed to meet the complex needs of our border communities. Through strategic partnerships and community-informed programs, we bridge gaps, strengthen resources, and create lasting solutions. At our core, we believe that authentic change comes from service, not self-interest, and we are dedicated to shaping a future where Southern Arizona thrives, connected, and resilient.
