Owner and head instructor Roger Myers II brings over a decade of Jiu-Jitsu experience and a deep passion for the art to every class. A proud affiliate of Next Generation MMA, founded in 1998 by 5th-degree black belt and MMA veteran Chris Brennan, RM Elite carries forward a legacy of excellence and integrity. Myers began his Jiu-Jitsu journey under the Next Generation banner in 2011 and has since evolved from student to black belt instructor and academy owner. After overcoming challenges, including the pandemic, he established a permanent home for RM Elite Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Van Alstyne, Texas, where his mission continues-empowering students to grow in skill, confidence, and community through the art of Jiu-Jitsu.
