Sheila Bruhn of SCORE and Doug Sanzone of VBOC
Sheila Bruhn
Sheila Bruhn holds an Associate of Arts degree from St. Cloud State University, and an Information Management degree from the University of North Dakota. She is a volunteer with SCORE, but her volunteering also includes works through Augustana Lutheran Church, the Grand Forks Optimist Club, and the East Grand Forks Civil Service Commission.
Since February 2020, Sheila has been retired from a rewarding career, which include Director of Operations for Country Sunshine CBD, Executive Director of the Northland Community and Technical College (NCTC) Foundation and Assistant to the President, Executive Director/Chief Operating Officer for the Community Foundation of Grand Forks, East Grand Forks and Region, and more. Currently, she is the Director of Special Projects for the Community Foundation of Grand Forks, East Grand Forks and Region.
Sheila and her husband, Val, live in East Grand Forks, MN, and have three grown children and four grandsons.
Doug Sanzone
Douglas Sanzone is the Veteran Business Outreach Specialist for VBOC of the Dakotas. He provides training and advising services to veterans and their spouses on starting and operating a small business. These services are at no cost to any veteran interested in learning more through one of our workshops or by a one-on-one appointment with Doug. He has over 30 years of business experience, including running his chef/owned restaurant and an online institutional brokerage firm. Doug’s prior experience includes a wide range of business activities ranging from truck driving to building sophisticated technological products. Doug has a Mathematics and Economics degree from the University of Buffalo.
