Program Description – Caravelas. Little Spanish Speakers Academy
An exciting Spanish adventure designed for young explorers!
At Caravelas, we offer a fun, interactive, and thoughtfully structured program for children to learn Spanish as a second language in a multicultural, supportive, and engaging environment. Our classes are divided into two age groups to better meet the developmental and linguistic needs of each child:

Group 1: Little Explorers (Ages 5–8)
Focus: Introduce the Spanish language through play, music, stories, and movement.
Each class includes:

• Greetings and basic introductions
• Colors, numbers, animals, body parts
• Simple everyday phrases
• Thematic vocabulary through songs and storytelling
• Expressions for emotions and daily routines

Method: Multisensory learning using puppets, games, songs, drama, and hands-on crafts. Emphasis is placed on listening comprehension and oral expression in a nurturing environment.

Group 2: Curious Navigators (Ages 9–11)
Focus: Expand understanding and oral expression using simple Spanish structures and practical vocabulary.
Each class includes:

• Introducing themselves and talking about personal topics
• Describing people, objects, and places
• Asking and answering basic questions
• Participating in role-plays and mini dialogues
• Reading and understanding short texts

Method: Dynamic lessons with visual support, dramatization, language games, age-appropriate songs, guided writing, and collaborative activities. Emphasis is placed on interaction and active language use.
