Description
Create the beloved, ultra-roomy Mondo Bag -- your new evreyday tote that swallows everything and looks fabulous doing it!  Patti will guide you step-by-step using Quiltsmart printed interfacing to turn 2 1/2 Inch squares (jelly roll, charm leftovers, or scraps) into a crisp patchwork bag.  You'll learn smart layout and fusing, accurate piecing, boxing corners, adding a lined interior with pockets and sturdy straps.  Perfect for condfident beginners and beyond: most students will get close to a finish in class and leave with the skills to complete at home.  Pattern/interfacing required -- see supply list. Students enjoy 10% off items needed for class.
Supplies:
*Sewing machine in good working condition, or rent one of our Berninas!
 *Basic quilting supplies:  Straight pins, tape measure, seam ripper, thread (to compliment), scissors, rotary cutter (with safety locking mechanism & new blade), 24 x 36" cutting matt, 6 1/2" x 24 1/2" ruler, 2 1/2 " wide ruler, applique pressing mat.
