Rifle Community Meeting - Housing Plan
Description
The City of Rifle will host a community meeting on Tuesday, November 18, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM in the City Council Chambers to present the completed housing plan and share how the City intends to address current and future housing needs.
Developed in partnership with Points Consulting, the housing plan highlights Rifle’s current housing challenges, identifies land available for future development, and presents key data and insights to guide decision-making.  It also provides recommendations like adopting form-based code, allowing more diverse housing types, offering incentives for affordable units, and reducing development barriers to help Rifle expand its housing options. 
Event attendees will have the opportunity to:

• Learn about the results of the citywide housing study
• See recommendations for future housing development and zoning updates
• Ask questions and provide input to City staff and consultants

Other consulting firms, such as KLJ Engineering, will be present to discuss their work on the recently completed Safe Streets for All action plan.
