About the Career Fair

Open to the public and promoted regionally through media, social platforms, and direct outreach, this career fair is designed to attract a diverse pool of candidates. Attendees will range in experience and skill level—making this an ideal opportunity to connect with potential employees across a variety of industries.

Expectations for Participating Employers

There is no cost for employer partners to participate. However, participating organizations are asked to commit to the following:

Yorba Linda, CA — The Yorba Linda Chamber of Commerce welcomes the passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA), signed by President Trump on July 4th. Building on the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, the OBBBA provides lasting tax relief and investment incentives to strengthen small businesses and working families.

The legislation makes key business deductions permanent, extends expensing for capital and R&D investments, and expands Section 179, allowing small businesses to reinvest, innovate, and create local jobs. U.S Chamber of Commerce Guide to the New Tax Law for Small Business

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has released a guide to help small business owners make the most of recent tax law changes. Highlights include:

Permanent 20% QBI (Qualified Business Income) Deduction — now available annually to eligible pass-through entities.

Immediate Deduction for R&E Expenses — eligible businesses can deduct 100% of U.S.-based research and experimental expenses, with retroactive application for some years.

Increased Section 179 Expensing — the maximum immediate deduction has more than doubled, with generous thresholds that phase out at higher purchase levels.

The State of California posted stronger-than-expected job growth, adding more than 17,000 jobs in the most recent period, with a statewide employment growth rate of 0.4%. The unemployment rate remained steady at 5.3%, reflecting continued economic stability amid signs of a gradually cooling labor market.
Southern California continues to lead the way in employment gains, with Orange County standing out as a regional leader. The county reported the addition of over 1,500 jobs, contributing significantly to the state's overall growth. This positive trend reinforces the economic resilience and business vitality of communities like Yorba Linda.
